Lucas Omar received a BFA in film studies from the University of Pittsburgh and an MFA in production (directing) from Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts. His films have screened at prestigious film festivals globally and have won numerous awards. He has assisted well-known directors such as Todd Haynes, Robert Pulcini, and Shari Springer Berman.
