Born at Royal Oldham hospital on 30th November 1989 to Mother Jem Mercer and Father Andrew Mercer. She is the youngest of 5 children.
Aswell as being an Actress Sophie is also a keen screen writer and poet. Completing a feature film 'Keeping Secrets' , a six part northern based drama 'Chasing Smoke' as well as many other short films.
