Biography

Canadian/Ugandan, Writer, Director/Producer. Co-Founder of Film Garage North Inc. He prides himself in being a product of mentorship from mostly powerful women, from his own mom, to Mira Nair and currently mentored by Brenda Gilbert (Bron Studios). Ian, has a multitude of experience in Content Production, Product Marketing, and Commercial branding. Over his years in the industry, he has worked in Africa, Australia, Europe and North America, and have directed and produced content for the likes of Mnet Africa, Facebook, Heineken beer, Microsoft and many broadcasters such as National Geographic, pbs, CBC, TVO , and currently directing and producing a Documentary supported by CMF, TVO and Knowledge Network, with a working title, "De-Road".

Film Garage North Inc, currently has a slate of various Television projects in development. We have Two drama-comedy shows, Two Doc series, Two Competition shows and One children's Animation in advanced development, with a first draft pilot script
