Islahuddin NS

Islahuddin N S is a Bengaluru-based writer, director, and creative producer with over two decades of craft spanning theatre, feature films, and brand storytelling. Founder and Creative Head of Metaphysical Films, he has directed three Kannada features - Spaces For Rent (2009), one of Karnataka's early crowd-funded indie-films; Nodi Swamy Ivanu Irode Heege (2022) - streaming on Zee5 OTT; and Anna (2023), which completed a 134-day theatrical run and now streams on Amazon Prime Video and YouTube. Most recently, he co-wrote Kuladalli Keelyavudo (2025) alongside Yograj Bhat. Grand Prize Winner at Mofilm England 2010. SIIMA Best Debutant Director nominee. A UGC-NET certified lecturer in Mass Communication, he holds a Master's in Communication and Journalism with four gold medals from the University of Mysore and a Master's in Media Production from the University of Sunderland, England.
