Biography

Lauren Conklin is a composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist living and working in Nashville, TN. She began her musical career as a fiddle player, and has performed on stages from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville to the Royal Albert Concert Hall in London as well as televised performances from Good Morning America to the Colbert Late Show. As an instrumentalist and arranger, Lauren has worked with artists such as Miley Cyrus, Lonestar, Florida Georgia Line, ABC/CMT's "Nashville", the CMT Awards, Little Big Town, 3 Doors Down, Collective Soul, Andra Day, Lee Ann Womack, Matt Maher, Shy Carter, Morgan Evans, Sam Williams, Kylie Morgan, as the featured artist for Bonafonte's international advertising campaign, Lukas Graham, and many others.

Lauren is a graduate of Belmont University with a degree in Commercial Music. Her background in bluegrass and Celtic music lends a unique edge to her compositions and recordings. Her sound is full of lush strings, cinematic world-inspired percussion, and draws elements from her time traveling and performing in Scandinavia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Lauren began scoring for film and television in 2020 when she landed her first feature length film with American Pantheon, "As Real As You Make It". As a solo artist, Lauren has released 2 EPs (Water Music Parts 1 and 2) and a collection of cinematic pieces that have received international recognition and support from noted composers such as Giancarlo Castro D'Adonna, Jose Augustin Sanchez, and Eddy Marcano, as well as radio play on classical stations in both the US and Latin America.

Currently, Lauren lives in Nashville, TN, where she works as a composer, arranger, and recording artist.

Lauren began as a touring strings and utility player, performing at venues like the Royal Albert Concert Hall and the Grand Ole Opry, and on programs like The Colbert Show, the CMT Awards, and The Today Show. Her sound blends classical orchestration with world folk influences, drawing from her international touring experience. In addition to film scoring, she has arranged and recorded strings for artists such as Jelly Roll, HARDY, Jax, Lukas Graham, Russell Dickerson, Kylie Morgan, Skylar Astin, Dasha, New Hope Club, and more.
