Biography

Jeff C. Edelstein is an American filmmaker and U.S. Army combat veteran (Paratrooper) who bridges proven independent film execution with emerging virtual production technologies. Operating under the MarkEd Films LLC banner, Edelstein has a strong track record of shepherding character-driven features from script to global distribution. He wrote and directed The Company We Keep (Random Media) and Our Neighbors Shadow, which achieved platform distribution on Apple TV.

Drawing directly from his military background, Edelstein’s has now directed his creative focus to authentic, high-stakes tactical cinema. To bring studio-level precision to independent action, he integrates a rigorous pre-visualization pipeline into his development process through a creative partnership with LightCraft Technology. Utilizing 3D virtual production, Blender MCP, and NVIDIA Physics Libraries, Edelstein maps and choreographs complex combat and vehicle simulations prior to principal photography. He is currently packaging his third feature directorial effort, the tactical military thriller Graveyard of Empires.
