Biography

Esteban Recagno is a versatile Uruguayan actor, communicator, and audiovisual creator with an extensive career spanning theater, film, and television across Uruguay and Argentina.

His artistic journey began at age 15, after being awarded a full scholarship to study acting and singing at the prestigious school of actress Imilce Viñas. He made his professional stage debut as the lead in the play "De Género Violento" with the theater group "Margarita pa’ los Chanchos". The production, supported by the Municipality of Montevideo and the collective Mujeres de Negro, toured Uruguay for three years to critical acclaim.

In 2017, Recagno expanded his career to Buenos Aires, becoming a frequent performer on the renowned Corrientes Street. This transition solidified his presence in the Argentine entertainment industry, leading to significant roles in international productions. Most notably, he appeared in the Amazon Prime Video series "Maradona: Blessed Dream" (Maradona: Sueño Bendito), as well as various fiction projects for cinema and TV.

Beyond acting, Esteban is a multifaceted creator with a background in graphic design, which allows him to integrate a unique aesthetic and narrative vision into his work.
