Biography

L Morgan Lee is an award-winning actress and visionary. She received a history-making Tony Award® nomination for her standout performance in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, A Strange Loop on Broadway making her the first openly transgender actor to be nominated for a Tony Award®. This work also earned her an Obie Award and nominations for Drama League and Lucille Lortel Awards.

In London, the Mark O'Donnell prize recipient has been seen in numerous projects in development, including portraying artist Lili Elbe in an adaptation of David Ebershoff's novel, The Danish Girl. She can be heard on the Grammy nominated Broadway cast recording of A Strange Loop, as well as on The Rainbow Lullaby Album (Broadway Records), Ethan Carlson's Her Sound, Vol. 3, Joe Iconis' album (Ghostlight Records), and more.
