Biography

Screenwriter and director. Ricardo co-founded Giant Stories -with Christian Cueva- a storytelling and writing studio. He wrote La Exorcista (2022). He wrote and directed 4 short films, Voces (2015), Bolas de Fuego - México Bárbaro 2 segment- (2016), La Leyenda de la novia (2018) and Deliver (2018). He has worked on many projects as a local producer like MTV 19 (documentary), Banged Up Abroad (docudrama) and The toughest prisons of the world: Mexico City (docu series). He worked as Head of Content for Shark Tank México (Produ Award), seasons 1,2,3,4,5,6 & 7, and Shark Tank Colombia season 1, 2 ,3,4 & 5. He worked as Screenwriter for the mini-series "Earthquake 85" (Discovery fillers with the 2016 Promax Award) and El Son del Chile frito (documentary). Also worked for networks as Discovery, History, Turner, Sony, Televisa in short forms. Now is writing a new feature thriller film and working in a new documentary series about corruption.

Ricardo has studies in communication, cinema and writing in Universidad Iberoamericana (México), EICTV (San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba) y Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (México) and UCLA (USA). As a fiction writer, his genres are horror, suspense, science fiction and drama. He has an interest in topics related to the paranormal and strange, as well as old technologies, journalism, comics, and business.
