Víctor Arcturus Estrella is a Dominican actor, writer, rapper, and interdisciplinary artist. He is a graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where he studied an MA in Acting for Screen. Víctor is a Berlinale Talents alumnus and short films he has starred in have screened at festivals such as New Orleans Film Festival, Miami Film Festival, Guadalajara International Film Festival and Outfest.
As a member of the Dominican Republic-based theatre company Teatro Utopía he has devised and performed in several plays that have been shown at national and international theatre festivals. His training and artistic practise include physical theatre, masks, and improv comedy. He wrote and starred in the British-Dominican short-film ZEMI (2023) and his solo show Breakbone (2024), which had its premiere in London.
