- Andi Matichak is an American actress. She has appeared in such television series as 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods. She starred as Allyson Nelson in the latest trilogy of the Halloween franchise which was a box-office and critical success. Halloween (2018) broke multiple records and she reprised her role in Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends.
Matichak was born in Framingham, Massachusetts, but raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She attended St. Francis High School in Wheaton, Illinois. During a summer while still in high school, Matichak was approached by a talent scout and connected with representation in New York City as an actor. She began taking acting classes and fell in love with the art form and made the challenging decision to forego a soccer scholarship and instead move to New York City upon graduation and begin pursing acting.

- Matichak starred in the horror sequel film Halloween (2018). She plays the role of Allyson Nelson, the daughter of Judy Greer's character Karen Nelson, and the granddaughter of Jamie Lee Curtis' Laurie Strode, whose character also starred in the 1978 original film.
- The young actress to get the halloween audition recorded a small sequence of two pages, which she had to send to the studio. "Within weeks I got a call to schedule a Skype interview with David Gordon Green, everything was great and they gave me new scenes, very crazy and with many shouts, then I waited until I finally got it," the actress confessed to Collider.
