  • Wunmi Fowora born as Adewunmi Moyin-Oluwa Ogunfowora is a Nigerian- American actress, producer and director. Brooklyn born & New Jersey raised, Wunmi (pronounced "Woo-me") had an extremely creative mind at a very young age. From engaging in various types of dance by age 4, winning a multitude of county-wide drawing & slogan contests by 10 & consistently winning national & tri-state singing competitions in choral music by 14, Wunmi was able to excel in her hobbies outside of her home. Although she gained admittance to an Arts High School & was performing in all her school plays, her parents had her set to study in the medical field by the time she applied for college. Once Wunmi applied for Art schools and got accepted, she was ready to turn her hobbies into a career.

Wunmi Fowora achieved a BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. While at NYU she thrived professionally from premiering as the lead "Dido" in a new play brought to the Old Vic Theater in London and was featured in the Joe's Pub cabaret From Rodgers to Heart directed by Sutton Foster. After NYU, Wunmi also made her national tour debut as the lead, Harriet Tubman, of the show, Freedom Train. Wunmi has been featured in a number of plays, cabarets, indie films, web series, commercials, tv shows, print ads, voice overs and has hosted events as well. She produces web series, such as the mini series "Addie & Addy" and has her acting work featured in world renown venues such as Tribeca Film Festival, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Picture Farm Film Festival, Auckland Film Festival (New Zealand) and more.
