Biography

Anupam Santosh Saroj's journey over the years as an ardent film lover and maker has witnessed various phases. He is a risk-taker who is unafraid to visit uncharted territories. And it is this attitude that even reflects in his work - be it writing or directing.

Anupam began his journey in the film industry when he was just 17 as he assisted various directors. He learnt quickly and on the job before turning Dialogue Writer in 2016 with the film, Hate Story 3 followed quickly with him directing a non-fictional digital show for Sony LIV, Once Upon A Time With Vikram Bhatt.

His big digital break came with the sensational web series, Twisted in 2017 starring Nia Sharma and written and produced by Vikram Bhatt. Then came the mini series Rain quickly followed by Twisted 2, a bigger success that even the maiden season that also saw the Internet crash on the night of the release. In 2020, Anupam directed a murder mystery, Naked, a web series penned by Vikram Bhatt which was an MX Original.

Set as an independent film maker, Anupam has also been doing various episodes of the popular show 'Fuh Se Fantasy - Season 2' for different production houses and his episodes have been amongst the most viewed.

Early on in his career as the first A.D., he has also worked on creating ad films for popular brands such as Maggi, Kellogg's, Vicks Action 500 and more.

He resides in Mumbai and is an avid gamer and is out to tell his story to the world.
