Alex Zou

Alex Zou is a Chinese-American writer-director based in Beijing. A graduate of NYU Tisch and Beijing Film Academy, he has collaborated on many cross-cultural productions in the US and China. Highlights include working as writer and producer of "The Architects of Camellia," directed by Oscar-nominee Christine Choy; director of photography for the feature film "Who Sang the Last Song of Spring," produced by Zhang Yimou; lead actor in the feature film, "Heartbreak Diaries," winner of the Critic's Recommendation Award at the 2021 New Era Film Festival; and screenwriter for the feature film "Isaac," starring Josh Stamberg and Zhang Jingchu, set for US theatrical release in 2025.
