David Philipp

Award-winning sound designer David Philipp was born in Linz, Austria. After receiving his master's degree in audio and game design at the University Of Applied Sciences in Salzburg, he made his way to Germany to start working as a sound designer for Dynamedion and was also one of BOOM Library's founding members. A four year spell of designing sounds for Creative Assembly's Total War Audio team gave him the opportunity to work on titles such as Total War: Rome II, Total War: Attila and last but not least Total War: Warhammer. After this period he co-founded The Noiseworks Ltd., a sound design and music agency based in London and Vienna. Collaborating with several AAA developers and other audio companies gives him the opportunity to constantly work together with talented and motivated people with only one goal: creating outstanding sound design.
