Biography

António Faria was born in Lisbon, Portugal. He started working as an editor and camera assistant for video production companies in Portugal. After moving to Macau in 2008, he made his debut as a documentary filmmaker in 2009 with the film "Time Travel," which was selected for the Macao Video International Film Festival. As a result of his passion for travel and cinema, in the following years he created the films "Into the Void" and "Rutz - Global Generation Travel", which appeared at several international festivals. The year 2019 begins in fiction with "Ina and the blue tiger sauna" presented at IFFAM and available on Amazon Prime. He works between Portugal and Macau, where he runs his independent film production company Locanda Films.
