Biography

  • My personal point of view about Art:

Acting is a choral act, its purpose is to convey messages. Actors are not the message, they are only a means to convey it. If the audience, after seeing a play, or a movie, or any art work, is more impressed by the performance than by the message that the work carries, in a word, more impressed by the means than by the end... Well, something went terribly wrong"!

    Biography:

He graduated from the Sergio Tofano Theater School of Turin, directed by Mario Brusa.

In 1995 he began a long collaboration with the Turin Permanent Theatre Company, performing some of the greatest Greek and Latin classics, both comedy and tragedy (Plauto, Eschilo, Euripide), alongside Adriana Innocenti, Piero Nuti and Giancarlo Zanetti.

In 2000 he moved to Milan and works at the side of Franco Branciaroli in various productions ("Jesus", "What is Love"), for the CRT Foundation (Theatrical Research Centre).

In 2002 he moved to Rome and he forge a lucky partnership with the theater director Emanuela Giordano, playing leading roles in "Alice in Wonderland" (with Mascia Musi), "Via Tarquinia 20" (Penitentiary Drama Project, with inmates of Civitavecchia Prison) and "La Commedia di Orlando" (with Isabella Ragonese and Erika Blanc). He also plays as co-star in two theatrical tours with Carlo Croccolo and Mita Medici and with Lillo & Greg, who engaged him for the show "Trapped in the Comedy".

In Rome he also met the important actor coach Michael Margotta, headmaster of the Actor's Center of Rome, and approach the Stanislavski method, attending various workshops of Actor's Training and Script Analysis. The meeting with Michael will change his life.

He has performed in many TV Series, among which we can mention: "Non Uccidere" - Season 2 (Fiction Rai1, with Camilla Filippi); "La strada di casa" - Season 2 (Fiction Rai2, with Sergio Rubini), "Giustizia per tutti" (Fiction canale 5, with Raoul Bova); "Piloti" (Sitcom Mediaset, with Enrico Bertolino); "Il terzo indizio" (a Docu-Fiction presented by Barbara De Rossi, based on a true story: the Chiara Insidioso crime case, in which he plays the role of Chiara's father).

In Cinema, after a leading role in an underground play ("Censurado", director: Mauro Russo Rouge), he made his debut on the big screen playing the Co-star role of Filippo in "The Nest" (an horror movie by Roberto De Feo, produced by Colorado Film), alongside Francesca Cavallin, Maurizio Lombardi and the young Justin Korovkin and Ginevra Francesconi.

During all these years, he also worked as a speaker and voice actor, lending his voice to many actors in Films, Animations and TV Series, including: "Django Unchained", "Transformers", "The Simpsons", "Game of Thrones", "The Borgias", "CSI New York" and many others ...
