Eugen Semitjov(1923-1987)

Eugen Semitjov was a Swedish journalist, writer, illustrator, artist and comics creator of Russian descent, born in Sweden. His science fiction comic strip "Allan Kämpe" is still the most globally spread Swedish adventure strip. He specialized in the subject of outer space, and he was the first westerner to interview Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space. Semitjov was awarded the Stora Journalistpriset (Great Journalist Prize) in 1972 for his work as a journalist.
