Biography

Livia Matthes is a German actress best known for the Canadian series X Company ( 2015-2017), the Netflix series We are the Wave (2019) and the Netflix feature film Prey (2021). In the dutch movie J.Kessels (2016) which opened the Nederlands Film Festival she played the role of Sabine. She also had supporting and minor roles in Sense8 (2018), Homeland (2016), Mute (2018). She played Samira in the german feature film Godless youth (2017) which was nominated for several German awards, the series Bad Banks (2018) which was nominated at the International Emmys 2019 for best Drama Series, as well as for several German awards. In the german feature film Schweinskopf al dente (2016) which won best national film at the Jupiter Awards, she played the role of Heidi In the dutch movie J.Kessels (2016) which opened the Nederlands Film Festival she played the role of Sabine. Livia Matthes is fluent in English, German, French, Brazilian-Portuguese and speaks good Spanish.
