- Shaylin B is an R&B artist from Chicago who moved to California at the tender age of eleven to pursue her career. A singer, songwriter, and dancer, she began performing when she was five years old. She got her start in show business when she performed in the Tony Award winning musical The Lion King on Broadway as "Young Nala" at the Minskoff Theatre in New York. One of her biggest performances, Shaylin got the opportunity to perform for her hometown at Lollapalooza's Music Festival in Grant Park. She has since then performed for some of the best- Kanye West (member of The Samples) , Stevie Wonder (private birthday party), Tink (Chicago Theater), Nelly (Taste of Chicago) just to name a few.
To be so young, her music has already been consigned by icons. Her single "Magic" was a featured track on Pharrell's IamOther Compilation project, each single handpicked by the legend himself. Since then, Shaylin's music has been highlighted in The Joe Budden podcast as hit of the week, Sway's Universe, and Spotify's "Fresh Finds" editorial playlist.
Currently, she has the lead role of "Gloria" on Dreamworks' "Madagascar: A Little Wild," a kid's voiceover show on Hulu and Peacock. She is the voice for the future.
