Biography

SAG Award Nominee Madison Thompson is a triple threat best known for her role as Erin Pierce on seasons three and four of Netflix's Emmy Award-winning show Ozark. Thompson plays 'Erin,' the 17-year-old daughter of cartel lawyer Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer). Currently she can be seen the new season of HBO's hit drama Euphoria.

Madison’s recent credits include Lasse Hallström's The Map That Leads to You for Prime Video, which immediately hit No. 1 on the streamer upon release, starring alongside Madelyn Cline and KJ Apa.

Thompson previously starred in the Paramount+ musical series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, a prequel to the beloved classic Grease. The series was lauded as a "celebration of teen friendship" by The Hollywood Reporter. Madison was a standout as 'Susan,' leader of the Socs and most popular girl at Rydell High School, with Collider praising her performance for "[discovering] ways to make Susan escape the cheerleader stereotype, including finding new and delicious ways to be mean."

She also starred alongside Sabrina Carpenter in Prime Video’s Emergency, an official selection at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival, among many others.

Coming soon, she will return to the stage in HAIRSPRAY at the Tony Award Winning Muny Theater, playing the deliciously funny Amber Von Tussle. Thompson was also just announced to be leading the comedic thriller The Lottery opposite Sofia Wylie.

Behind the camera, Thompson is a producer on the hit Tubi sensation Sidelined, recently lead produced the Off-Broadway play Pretty Perfect Lives starring Elizabeth Lail (You), and is the original producer of the upcoming musical Like Father, premiering at Atlanta's Tony Award winning Alliance Theatre. Madison is also an accomplished screenwriter with exciting writing credits soon to be announced this year.

Madison began performing at the age of ten in a wide range of musical theater roles, from "Ariel" in Footloose to "Brigitta" in The Sound of Music. She received a 2018 Shuler Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actress in her role as "Wendy" in Peter Pan.

Aside from acting, Madison is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California where she was a Presidential Merit Scholar. She graduated with the highest honors of Summa Cum Laude from the Marshall School of Business and the School of Cinematic Arts with a BS in Business of Cinematic Arts. She is a proud Georgia girl and when she’s not acting, Madison enjoys painting murals, pilates, and posting (and eating her creations) that she features on her chocolate Instagram account.
