Biography

Brian has had a lifelong career in Entertainment spanning Music, Literature and Film. He spent decades in the Music industry producing and touring as a musician. As an author and international recording artist, he also was an active spokesman for Youth Outreach programs. More recently, he's made the transition from Music to Film and has written and directed several features. The first, a psychological thriller called, "One More Time Before I Die", was set against the American Civil War and he, himself, played the lead. To date, the film has received more than 15 international film festival awards and was released through Octane Multimedia in 2023. It is available on Amazon Prime and most streaming platforms.

Brian followed that up with another period thriller named, "Ming... Voice of Deception", a 1930's depression era film, and "Prisoners of Time", a time travel romance set against the Salem witch trials. Both are scheduled to be released in 2027.

In 2025 Brian and cousin Ted (founding members of Lutes Cousins Films) signed a deal with Buffalo 8 distribution to release four films in 2026, beginning with "Blue Skies on Mars". It was released on Amazon Prime in January 2026. This will be followed by "Painted Sharks" (April), "Pictures of Us" (TBD) and "Not a Love Story" (TBD).

In the summer of 2026, Brian is set to begin shooting a new project named, "Beautiful Stranger" to be released in 2027.

Brian is the principal writer and director and sometimes actor for Lutes Cousins Films productions. He is represented by Tamaryn Tobian at Spectacle Creative Media.
