- Despite his innate inclination to perform since he was a child, Mr. Papoutsas starts his acting studies at the age of 14, back in Argentina. Not long after this, he undertakes his career-path participating in TV commercials, sitcoms as well as his first theater plays.
- Iorgo Papoutsas graduated from the legendary Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, NY, after receiving a full-program scholarship granted first-hand by Mrs. Anna Strasberg.
- Iorgo took part as a live performer in the "Heroes of Life, Champions of Humanity" mega-musical aiming to raise a collective voice to foster world peace. Multitudinous event presented by Buddhist organization SGI-USA on Sat. July 14, 2001 at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City, known as "The World's Most Famous Arena".
- Nurturing his avid fondness for music and singing, Iorgo's become a recurring chorus member of the captivating Menotti's opera "Amahl and the Night Visitors" on its two consecutive seasons (2018 + 2019) and counting, produced by On Site Opera. This immersive spectacle's performances are presented in New York during the holiday season.
