Jerry Michael Williams - nicknamed Mike - seemingly disappeared at Lake Seminole, Florida on 16 December 2000. His body was found sixteen years later and his killer (Brian Winchester, Mike's friend) and the killer's co-conspirator (Denise Merrell Williams, Mike's wife) were brought to justice in 2018 and 2019. It was Mike's mother, Cheryl Williams, who never gave up the fight to find her lost son.
