Biography

Steven Roderick Jurich was born in Scottsdale, Arizona on one of the hottest days of one of the hottest years in Arizona history. He was born an only child and has remained that ever since. With no siblings, he had to learn how to have fun on his own, which led to the development of his overly-vivid and responsibly-random imagination. At a very young age he took an immediate liking to any sort of fantasy or sci-fi story, Star Wars being his all time favorite, most watched, and most imagined.

He was an athlete his entire life, mainly focusing on the sport of Basketball, but he always desired to be creative. Taking time to act wherever he could, his sports would dominate most of his free time. As a child, he performed in "No Turkey for Perky" twice, which is still remembered as one of his favorites. After a few performances in high school and a state championship, his basketball led him to California State University Fullerton -- where he was finally involved with what would become his true passion: Film. It was there that he began to learn about the aspects of Film Production and Acting, been strongly drawn to both.

This soon led him to make a few films of his own, including "Last Things Last", "All That Remains", and "Ashes", which enabled him to get his hands dirty and start creating for his own. He loves to learn and is itching for the next opportunity to contribute to the Cinema Community. Acting was, for a long time, a secret passion, but it now has actualized into his biggest goal.
