Erin R. Ryan was born in Dayton, OH. She fell in love with acting at the age of 12 while attending theatre camp. She is a dedicated actor mostly known for her work in Independent Horror films. She is a college graduate with a background in literature, painting, ballet, and theatre. She currently resides in Dayton with her cat Six-Toed-Sally.

Erin was once bitten by a horse, and thus was scared of them; but went ahead and practiced her riding for the lead role in Calamity Jane's Revenge.

Director John Oak Dalton has said in several interviews that he wrote the role of "Jill McBain" in The Girl in the Crawlspace specifically for Erin R. Ryan.

[on performing nude] I really don't have a problem with it. The human body is the human body. I want the nudity that I do to make sense in a film. Now, if it's a B horror fun movie like Babysitter Massacre you're going to have the three B's blood, boobs, and beasts. I was proud. It was like, hey I'm in a B movie and I'm naked!
