Neelu Vaghela, a distinguished Indian film and television actress, rose to fame with her iconic portrayal of Santosh Rathi, fondly known as Bhabho, in the Star Plus serial 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' and its sequel 'Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji.' Born and raised in the vibrant city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, Neelu's journey into the world of acting commenced at a tender age, fueled by her childhood dream of making a mark in the film industry.

In 1981, at the age of 11, Neelu embarked on her acting career as a child artist with the role of Munga in the Rajasthani film 'Supattar Binani.' This marked the beginning of a prolific career in regional cinema, with Neelu gracing the silver screen in numerous Rajasthani movies, including 'Ramgarh Ri Ramli,' 'Jai Karni Mata,' 'Lancha Gujri,' 'Derani Jethani,' 'Baisa Ra Jatan Karo,' 'Dadosari Laadli,' 'Veer Tejaji,' and 'Bai Chali Sasariye,' among others. Her impressive filmography boasts nearly 50 films, earning her recognition as a talented actress in the regional film industry.

However, it was her role as Bhabho in 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' in 2011 that catapulted Neelu to national fame. The show became a massive hit, and Neelu became a household name, endearing herself to audiences across India. Her stellar performance opened doors to other notable television projects, including 'Meri Maa,' 'Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji,' 'Main Maike Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo,' and 'Aye Mere Humsafar,' showcasing her versatility as an actress.
