Raised in a small town in North Carolina, Erika Chase is an actor based in New York City and the Southeast. They are best known for their recurring role as Maxine on Netflix's Manifest, with recent credits including FBI and Smile 2.
Originally pursuing a degree in psychology, they found themself drawn to acting long before it became their profession. In fact, they took so many acting classes alongside their coursework that they reached the university's limit for electives outside their major. This was a turning point that confirmed where their passion truly belonged.
They continue to train regularly, studying scene work at The Barrow Group, Alexander Techworks, and improvisation at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB).
