Michael is a writer, playwright, dramaturg, story editor and actor who creates genre-bending narratives about identity, belonging, and social justice.
As a playwright, his works The Book of Dorothy and The Future's So Bright were semi-finalists for the O'Neill Theater Center's National Playwrights Conference.
He collaborated with Shannon Denise Evans on Velvet Moon Chronicles: The Leveling, an acclaimed novel and award-winning web series. They recently completed the short film The Black Door and are developing other projects in the cosmic horror, supernatural drama, and psychological thriller genres.
Michael is a member of the Dramatists Guild and AEA, and serves on the board of The Project Solution, a nonprofit that funds infrastructure projects in distressed communities worldwide.
