Lucky Cheng is a cinematographer, born and raised in NYC’s Lower East Side/Chinatown. His first days in the darkroom while living in the UK in the 00’s ignited a lifelong engagement with crafting images; since that time he has honed his craft in the camera department, developing an intuitive eye for composition, camera movement, and striking, atmospheric lighting.
Based between the U.S., Europe, and Asia, he brings a global sensibility to his visual storytelling. When not out shooting and venturing on land, he can be found shooting and exploring the underwater world as a certified SCUBA diver and freediver.
