Biography

Gerry Connolly was a member of the US House of Representatives from Virginia's 11th district who served from 2009-2025. He died while in office on May 21, 2025. Connolly was a member of the Democratic party.

Prior to serving in Congress Connolly was a member of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. He received an MPA from Harvard University. Gerry was married to Cathy Connolly.
