First published at the age of 13, Craig started his career when he was hired as a staff press photographer two years later, and hasn't looked back since. Now specializing in Film & TV for Units Stills & Gallery, his recent time on set has included Netflix, Showtime, Bell Media and Fox productions.
He's always pursued the storytelling image and been published worldwide for the last 35+ years in the fields of film, editorial, advertising, industrial, corporate and travel interests.
Available to all travel and for productions across Canada & Internationally.
Skills include extensive studio & location lighting setups & kit, Underwater Set photography and housing apparatus, gallery assignments for solos & groups, working to Art Dept layouts and direction, delivering to strict deadlines and always surpassing client expectations. Studio located in downtown Vancouver, immediately available to client requests.
Clients know him as a master of difficult low light assignments in Film / Unit Stills, and with a natural ease in handling high pressure on-location assignments and even underwater opportunities.
Part of the founding Nikon Ambassador family for Canada and as a Member of The Explorers Club, he's led photo expedition tours through exciting destinations across the world and been part of the far-reaching expedition teams from the Sahara to the North Pole for numerous cultural explorations and tour companies.
He's had the pleasure to be part of countless salon jury teams, and as a keynote presenter to photography & trade events across Canada, the USA, United Kingdom, Mexico, Caribbean, India and far beyond.
A long list of credentials include a Gold Medal for Press Reportage, multiple Masters degrees internationally, Photographer of the Year Awards, and the Yousuf Karsh Lifetime Achievement Award.
He's been a beta team member to numerous software companies and consulted to many within the industry including Apple, Adobe and the Dept of Defence.
An avid sailor, diver and travel junkie, Craig is known for his easy-going style, comfortable knowledge and an openness to sharing his experience & secrets to success with professionals & enthusiasts of all skill levels.
