He is a writer, actor, comedian, and environmental activist. He is a Mdewakanton Dakota citizen and also has Dine heritage. He co-founded the Indigenous comedy group The 1491s, and is a Dakota culture and language teacher. Additionally, he is a poet, traditional artist, water protector and powwow emcee.
