Dennis Julian

Dennis Julian was born in Los Angeles, CA. Dennis was raised in the entertainment business. His father, Dennis Earl Nelson, a Jazz musician, producer and songwriter worked with the Temptations, Ray Charles and the like. His mother, Julianna Nelson, was a stay at home mom to Dennis and his two sisters, Ashly and Alyssa. He knew from a young age that acting was his passion. At 16 Dennis began acting and modeling. After High School, he went to Arizona State for Film and Media studies. He then moved back to LA in 2012 to pursue his acting career. Studying the techniques of Sanford Meisner, Michael Chekov, and Uta Hagen, his first taste of success came after years of hard work. Dennis landed a theatrical agent that led to a small role on the Netflix Docu-Series, "Drug Lords"(2017). He played the role of Eddie Jones, an undercover detective who was a key role in the take down of one of America's most infamous crime lords of the century, Frank Lucas. Dennis's next major role would be co-starring in the Lifetime thriller, THE HUSBAND which airs in September of 2019.
