Aimee Russell was born on December 12, 1992 in Auckland, New Zealand. She is a production manager, known for M3GAN (2022), Housebound (2014) and No Cigar (2014).

Was an Auckland representative in the sports of Javelin and Water-polo (Where she played the position of Goalie and Center-Forward).

Is an avid fan of the film "Rocky Horror Picture Show" and started the Evil Deeds Rocky Horror Shadow-cast based in Auckland, New Zealand where she played the character of Magenta. She was chosen to be the official RHPS fan page's (rockyhorror.com) 2011 profile for 'People who make the Rocky Horror Picture Show what it is'.

Is the older sister of actor and professional gamer Cameron Russell.

Her mother is owner and founder of Auckland based talent agency Bubblegum Talent, while her father runs a group of privately owned construction companies.
