Michael Werwie

Michael Werwie is the award-winning screenwriter and producer of Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019) and Lost Girls (2020). Both movies world premiered at Sundance and were acquired by Netflix. He won an Academy Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting and his work has been featured on the annual Hollywood Black List, Hit List, and Writers on the Verge. He is a New York-produced playwright from Milwaukee, WI, and graduated summa cum laude from USC with the designation Renaissance Scholar for completing a Bachelor of Science in Business Leadership, and triple minor in Psychology, Spanish, and Film.
