- Marco Fabbro is an Italian director and visual author working across documentary filmmaking, series production, and audiovisual experimentation. After his training in Italy, he studied in the United States at the American Film Institute (AFI) and later in the United Kingdom at the National Film and Television School (NFTS), refining a directorial language focused on research and international storytelling. He is the creator of the pioneering VR series 33/16, also presented at the Museum of Cinema in Turin, and of the docuseries Italian Japanese Food and Culture, which explores Japanese culture in Italy and is distributed on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. His work has been featured by the renowned magazine Rolling Stone. His medieval historical docufiction Marcho - The Last Flag has been presented at numerous festivals, screened in Italian cinemas, and broadcast on Rai Storia, as well as being available on RaiPlay. His directing style combines cinematic rigor with an authorial sensitivity, maintaining a constant focus on stories and people.
