Susana Kapostasy

Susana Kapostasy has been making analog horror videos since the early 2000's through her Johnny Braineater production company. She writes, produces, directs, cuts and adds analog glitches to her movies, most which are set in an undefined era of the 1980's or 1990's or a combination of both therein. Some of her biggest influences are the 1980's SOV era where moviemakers like Mark Polonia, Donald Farmer, and Tim Ritter helped jumpstart the horror underground microscene that continues today with moviemakers like herself. Some of her favorite all-time directors are Russ Meyer, John Flynn, Tim Ritter, and Roberta Findlay. She prefers the softer analog imagery of yesteryear over the super clear HD or 4K look and shoots the majority of her projects on true analog cameras that she collects and fixes.
