Biography

Adetinpo Thomas is a Nigerian-American actress and award winning filmmaker from Carson, California. She is a classically trained, having studied acting at the University of Georgia (B.A.) and the University of Connecticut (M.A.). On television, Adetinpo has had recurring roles in shows such as the CW's "Black Lightning," and Disney+'s "Hawkeye." Her film credits include "Devotion," "Guacamole Yesterdays," and the musical adaptation of "The Color Purple." As a filmmaker, Adetinpo has produced and/or created short films, including "Clean Slate," "The Earth Will Not Swallow Us," and "Sister Salad Days."
