Irina Bravo
- Actress
Irina Bravo is a Catalan-Chilean actress known for her roles in Paraíso (2021), Los Protegidos: A.D.N. (2022), and Sophia's Suspicion (2025). Her work spans Spanish television, film, and theater, from whimsical and eccentric characters to complex and troubled young women.
Starting off dancing as a child, she spent her childhood involved in a variety of artistic activities, including singing, gymnastics, painting, and writing. Her desire to pursue acting professionally motivated her to learn English and accelerate her education, undertaking her baccalaureate in the UK and completing her A-Levels in a single year instead of the usual two. At the age of seventeen, she entered the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York, where she lived for over three years. Soon after graduating, she starred as the title character in the horror short film Lucy's Tale (2018), which had its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival, one of the world’s leading genre film festivals showcasing science fiction, horror, and fantasy.
After landing several minor roles in Spanish film and television productions, she had her television breakthrough in Paraíso (2021), a mystery and adventure series directed by Fernando González Molina and produced by The Mediapro Studio and Movistar+. The series follows the disappearance of three girls-Sandra, Malena, and Eva-in a Spanish coastal town in 1992. In 2022, she joined the cast of the reboot of the Spanish science fiction series The Protected (2010), appearing in Los Protegidos: A.D.N. (2022) as Cala, a character with the ability to control plant life. She later appeared in the adaptation of the novel of the same name Sophia's Suspicion (2025), opposite actors Aura Garrido and Álex González.
She will next be seen in the Netflix true-crime series En el círculo del asesino (2026), written and directed by Sergio G. Sánchez, and the American horror film The Rule of Three, directed by James Roday Rodriguez and produced by Temple Hill Entertainment.
