Sam is a film writer and director born and based in South London, UK. He trained as a director at the Royal Central Speech & Drama in London, and then École Philippe Gaulier, Paris. His dark take on comedy has run merrily through all his work onstage and in film. He has had numerous awards and nominations for his short films with actors like Adeel Akhtar, Cariad Lloyd, Tom Coombes and Richard Ridings, and music videos for bands like Metronomy, Nothing But Thieves and Marika Hackman.
