David Armillei

David Armillei is a producer of independent documentary films based in Los Angeles, California. He focuses on providing bridge financing during the making of film projects prior to their distribution. He is best known for Hal (2018), a 2019 Producer's Guild Award nominee for Best Documentary and 2018 nominee for the U.S. Grand Jury Prize for Documentary at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.; Nuts! (2016), winner of the U.S. Documentary Special Jury Award for Editing at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival; and Rich Hill (2014), an Emmy nominee and winner of the U.S. Grand Jury Prize for Documentary at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.
