Biography

Jason Her was born in South Korea and attended International School in Kuala Lumpur before moving to California for his high school years. He went on to earn his BFA with a focus on media and film from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Jason directed a documentary for the award-winning production company Vienna Productions and worked as a producer for 20C Fox Mobile before turning his focus to acting.

Most recently, Jason can be seen in the second season of Netflix's BEEF as a recurring guest star where he plays opposite Youn Yuh-Jung (Academy winner from "Minari"), Song Kang-Ho (from "Parasite") and Oscar Isaac. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, BEEF creator Lee Sung Jin reflected, "It's so hard to find an actor that speaks that fluent Korean and English, who has that Korean cinematic look, with his hair that felt like Chaebol society. Just to still be able to... constantly discover new talent while getting to work with the greats, what creator wouldn't want that?"
