Matt Weiss(VII)

Matt grew up in Altadena, CA. He attended the L.A. County High School for the ARTS. Meanwhile, he spent time at the Magic Castle, Hollywood, with his magician father (aka - Mr. Magic). The remainder of his adolescence was spent rock climbing, river rafting and hanging out with skydivers and base jumpers, packing parachutes for his allowance at the World Freefall Convention in Quincy, Illinois. Matt attended Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey's Clown College under the guidance of his uncle, Jon Weiss, (known for being shot out of the cannon with Ringling' and for 'The Amazing Race' - 2001). Matt graduated from Stephens College (a women's college, as one of twelve male apprentices). He is a founding member of The Living Room Theatre and Fishtank Performance Studio in Kansas City, MO. He was Sherlock Holmes' photo double on CBS's, 'Elementary', for the first 3 seasons. He flew around in helicopters as an aerial photojournalist and news anchor for several years post-pandemic. He was a first responder to the 2025 Eaton Fire, helping to save a preschool at his former alma mater, St. Marks. He is (so far) a 6 time marathoner, working toward his Abbott Majors 6 Star Finisher. Best know for his role as Andrew Brandt in Marvel's 'Jessica Jones'.
