Amanda Rose Devonis, daughter to Steven and Deanna, was born in

Greensboro, North Carolina, before moving back to Cranston, Rhode
Island. At age eleven she was hit with the entertainment bug. She
started singing in choirs since middle school. At age fourteen she got
involved with video and audio technology and photography. At age
seventeen she got involved in acting. One of her big accomplishments
started when she auditioned for her high school play, High School
Musical. Even though she got a small role, she was honored to be part
of it. It was broad-casted on NBC10 news and Disney 365. It was such a
big thing because her school was rewarded a grant from Disney. They
also partnered up with Cranston High School East to give the message
that even though they came from different schools students can still
work together as one. After she graduated high school she took a year
off before going to college to decided what she wanted to do in life.
It was hard for her growing up. She was born with High Functioning
Autism, which made it hard for her to make friends. She was bullied and
taken advantage of by kids at her schools. She had to learn to grow up
early when her father was mentally ill. He got in trouble a lot so it
was hard for her, but she cut him out of her life until years later.
While on that year off she took into account all the stuff that has
happened to her over the years and decided what she wanted to do. Now
currently at the Community College of Rhode Island, studying to get her
associate degree in General Studies. She has dreams of being a unit
still photographer, an actress, and a motivational speaker. She has so
far gotten as few photography jobs for magazines and for independent
films.
