Stefanos Tsivopoulos

Stefanos Tsivopoulos is an internationally acclaimed visual artist, filmmaker, and writer whose work bridges contemporary art and cinema. His debut feature, Elena's Shift, marks a bold step into narrative filmmaking, a gripping, politically charged drama set in modern Athens that explores dignity, belonging, and the price of resistance. Developed through CineMart Rotterdam and Torino Film Lab, and later awarded Best International Project at Tallinn Works-in-Progress, Elena's Shift is produced by Boo Productions (Dogtooth, Apples) and supported by the Greek Film Center and Greek National Television. The film will have its world premiere in the First Feature Competition of the 2025 Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. With his debut, Tsivopoulos asserts himself as a distinctive new voice in European cinema, blending social realism and emotional intensity with a bold, cinematic vision.
