Mitch then started doing short films that premiered on YouTube, at the age of 20 he moved to Bonsall with his family, started taking acting at a acting studio in Temecula, called: "JDS actors studio" where he did "one act plays" and got his first agent. Mitch Alcala did small films, and small commercials, at the age of 26 he moved to L.A, to still continue on his acting career .
