Israel Arias

Born in the Pacific Northwest Israel is a Seattle, Portland, and Los Angeles based cinematographer. He found his passion for visual storytelling at an early age in college where he studied photography and later pursued cinematography. Growing up surrounded by rich natural landscapes and diverse creative influences, he was drawn to the emotional power of imagery; how light, composition, movement and collaboration could transform an idea or concept visually compelling images.

Over the past eight years, Israel has built a body of work that spans feature films, music videos, commercials, and branded content. His work blends intuitive camera movement with striking visual contrast, often grounding stylized imagery in human emotion.

Israel's dedication to his craft has earned him industry recognition, including Best Cinematography award at LAIFF, and his work continues to be featured across national campaigns and independent films alike. He collaborates with directors and creatives across genres, always with a focus on serving story first and effectively communicating the director's vision.
