Jakob Scott Johnson was born in Beverly Hills, CA. His father, Jaime, was in the television industry working for most major networks and filmed shows like "Totally Hidden Video", "Candid Camera", "Sightings", and more. His mother, Sheila, worked in the music industry for Chrysalis Records, Stevie Nicks, and more. Though Jakob was born in California, he was raised in South Louisiana most of his life before venturing back out to California then moving to Alabama to establish the production company SunHawk Studios. Jakob also created Independent Cinema Network, a TV network that showcases independent filmmakers. ICN is available on SimulTV.
