  • Ed Huether is an American actor, writer, director, and producer based in New York, with a career spanning more than three decades across film, theatre, and video production. He is known for his role as Jack in the independent feature The Proctor, which he also wrote and directed. His additional film credits include the feature films Send No Flowers and Charlie Mantle, as well as the short films Bullified and Goodbye Cruel World. In the theatre, Huether has acted in and directed over 100 stage productions, including title roles in Amadeus, Bat Boy the Musical, and Pippin. His regional theatre work also includes productions such as The Pillowman, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, The Full Monty, Curtains, and The Who’s Tommy. In addition to his work in film and theatre, Huether is the founder of id Unleashed Productions, where he specializes in filmmaking, multi-camera video production, and live direction, with a focus on performance-based storytelling. Aside from his work in the theatre, Ed has lent his singing voice to several recordings and toured as the lead singer for the popular tribute act Sex Type Thing: A Tribute to Stone Temple Pilots as Ed Weiland.
